Infrastructure
Site-wide civil packages, external works and utility networks for major developments.
Civil works and infrastructure engineered for durability, safety and long-term value — from substructures and site development to large-scale public works.
Civil engineering is the part of a project that no one photographs and everyone depends on. Al-Futtaim Construction's expertise spans the full spectrum of building and infrastructure development, and our civil teams handle the ground conditions, structures and networks that determine whether the rest of the programme holds. We plan for what the site is likely to give us, and we build in the tolerance to absorb what it does not.
Public infrastructure carries obligations that private developments do not: staged possession of the site, traffic and pedestrian management, utility diversions agreed with several authorities at once, and a public that has to keep using the area throughout. We work closely with consultants, stakeholders and authorities to sequence those constraints properly, so that approvals and access arrive when the programme needs them rather than after it has slipped.
Much of our civil work happens inside places that cannot stop — an operating plant, a functioning campus, a mall in trading hours. That changes how a job is planned: shorter working windows, tighter dust and noise control, permits negotiated shift by shift, and a supervision presence that can make safe decisions at three in the morning. It is slower to plan and far quicker to finish.

Foundations, structures and civil support works delivered inside operating facilities.
Civil works phased around occupied buildings, term dates and clinical operations.
Substructure and frame packages for towers, communities and mixed-use schemes.
Get the ground right and the rest of the programme becomes an engineering problem rather than an argument.
